The truth of the matter is that most companies do not buy back coins because they know that they originally overcharged them for their purchase and cannot explain the diminishing return. They continue to convince their buyers that they need to just keep holding onto their coins to see a profit or even breakeven essentially encouraging buyers to hold off until there is a huge uptick in the market. Some dealers use the tactic of changing the buyer out of certain coins into other coins promising a better return only to switch them into less coins.
